AND I'M BACK!  (hopefully!)

Went to the doctor today and though it's not 100%, he said I don't have to go back to the doctor and I can start running (slowly, very very very slowly!).  I was ECSTATIC!  After 6 long long long months not only have I gained about 8 pounds but I was pretty much ready to just start running no matter what the doctor says. After all, the result seems to be surgery either way, either I run on it and break it again, and this time I have surgery, or it's still not healed, and eventually I need surgery.  SO RUNNING IS THE ANSWER! :-)

Anyway, you can still see the break in the center of the bone, but the outsides are completely healed (thus the HUGE bump on my ankle bone) and its making good progress and I never think about it anymore except when I have huge anxiety attacks that it's not healing and get super paranoid....!  So he finally said get to it, and hopefully I never ever EVER see him again. Knock on wood.

So what did I do? Went for a run!  I was sloowww. Beyond slow. And every step I am paranoid about my ankle.  But oh well!  Took Cooper, he was pretty much walking while I was jogging, how sad.  2 miles, 11:11 and 11:26 splits. It's going to be a longgg road back but at least I'm on the road!

Today I'm also starting my own Biggest Loser competition (with myself!) to try and lose those 8 pounds. So I also did P90X legs and back and about 100 of the abrippers.
