on the beach, with Cooper, he was so happy!  Then ame home and walked more on the beach with my parents.  My knee SUCKS. Sad as it is, I may give up on the 1,000 mile mark, the idea of doing 2.5 more miles sounds awful after how bad my knee hurt today.  I don't understand how it's gotten so much worse despite all of my efforts. I need major professional help.

Don't hurt yourself just for a number. I just posted on aprils blog about getting a stride eval to see if different shoes might help. Have you ever seen a sports doc about your knee?

very good advice Rat!

I hope what I got and what you were talking about were the same thing?

Is your problem the IT Band or the actual knee? I know earlier you were asking me about my band...I think you jynxed me! LOL

Thanks Rat! I've been to the chiro and the PT and I'm waiting on insurance to approve an MRI. I went and got fitted for shoes at Road Runner in Kent (they have that video stuff too) a year ago or so but I don't know what to think about shoes. Minimal or not minimal? I have high arches but also overpronate, and now the PT says my left leg is shorter than my right and gave me a heel lift. So I have no idea what to think!
