My first time cross-country skiing!  Went to Hyak with Justin, Jordanne, and Lisa for 6.2 lovely miles in the snow along a lake.  Beautiful views.  We were getting worried as there was very little snow on the drive and it was a balmy 40 degrees!  I liked it, I wasn't very good (likely due to my lack of coordination) and I got some painful blisters.  Want to try skate skiing next time.  Sledding after!

I brought my Garmin just for fun, TT: 1:45:36  AP: 17:02

Splits: 22:29 (this included about 9 falls or almost falls, no one else fell even one time, yeah, I'm awesome), 14:47, 21:02 (gummi bear break!), 16:33, 12:56, 13:52

Sounds like fun! I used to XC ski many years ago, probably close to 20 ago. Great workout!
